I get the following error when I try to set up an ODBC connection through Crystal Reports version 14.1. When I try to setup a 32 bit ODBC driver I don't get an option for the Oracle ODBC, but I can create a 64 bit ODBC driver with no problems.
Hi Tamatha,
Crystal Reports is a 32-bit software and hence needs a 32-bit ODBC too.
Please install the 32-bit Oracle Client and use the 'Oracle Server' connection type listed in Database Expert to connect to the database.
If that's not available you can always create a 32-bit ODBC and report off of it.
