Sending automatic email to the task processor of a service notification

Hi,

I'm trying to send an automatic E-mail to task processor in case of task creation in a service notification. I'm trying to use the workflow, so I have assigned the task processor to " Pers./process tasks" partner function.I create a notification and set both partner functions "Person respons." and " Pers./process tasks" in Tcode IW51 and I tried roles 178 and 3100004 in Tcode PFAC but it always gives "no agent found".

Have you tried debugging the roles to see what that shows? Debugging will probably show you some insights into the problem (I hope).

Actually I did, I find out that i was making kind of a mistake while trying role 178 and role 175 in Tcode PFAC. The input should be the object of the notification followed by the notification number not the notification number only. Still I didn't arrive to my purpose which is sending an automatic mail to the task processor using workflow but at least I'm half way there by figuring out the correct rules.
