Material not getting issued against reservation

Dear all

Back flushing in not working and dependent requirements not getting issued automatically on confirmation of production order

even stock is available at storage location, inspite of activatiing backflushing for every dependent requirement.

when i go to COGI transation, when execution, it is giving like

No record was found for selection

when i tried to issue components through MB1A against order and its reservation( observed in co 02 under assignment tab) it is giving message like

Document does not contain any selectable items

It only allows MB1A against order and later i need to do GR for finished goods by MB 31.Then only stock is getting updated and reservation( created when planned order converted in to production order) only getting updated after TECHO.

Please any one can explain why backflushing not functioning?

Hi GB

For back flash to work you can do setting in 4 places

1) The material to be always back flash please tick in Mat master

2) In work center you can give back flash

3) in Routing you can give Back flash

4) in production order you can give.

IF you are not getting backflash. Please check in component view of Prod order. See the comp exist or not

Hi

For back flushing to work the following atep s are required.

1) back flushing indicator to be checked for the components.it can be in material master, work cneter or routing .

2) If you want storage location to get default in while GI , it should be filled with the filed prod. storage location in MRP2 view of component.

other wise you have to input while GI.

3) The stock of the particular component should be available in tht storge location.

After carrying out the abve settings . while in Co11N,you have to visit the goods movement tab & see whether the particular componen ts with respective qty's are defaulted or not.

If you follow the above steps it wil be \definitely work.
