consignment means that you create a liability when you consume the material

and project means that you post the value a project while you receive the material.

You cannot post the value of the receipt to a project when you receive the material and then create liabilities when you issue it.

Standard SAP issues a message ME066 telling you that a combination of project stock and consignment is not foreseen.

eventually you even get ME064: "Item category K can only be used without account assignment" (there is an OSS note 778226 which allows account assignment for non-valuated goods)

So you can test to allow the combination of item category and account assignment category in customizing customizing OLME > Account Assignment > Define Combination of Item Categories/Account Assignment Categories

and see how it turns out for your case.

Yes you're absolutely right -Thanks, that why I'm asking to do it by any enhancement or by any workaround , the client's business logic as follows :

He want to purchase consignment stock lets say 50 Tons of Rebar Steel , and also in the same time he wants this consignment stock to be physically not financially allocated to a specific project ( which means we can't make the withdrawals for any other reason for this specific consignment stock ) , and after the withdraw confirmation - in his logic - the financial liability will come in terms of the withdrawal quantity price, That is what they need.

I 'll go through the note 778226 instruction and do what is mentioned by you above and feed you back about the results

Thanks very much for your fast help
