Dear anil
There are four ways in deriving Credit Control Area. They are
=> Company code
=> Sales area (sales organization, distribution channel, division)
The sales areas can be assigned to a credit control area in Customizing (Enterprise Structure --> Assignment --> Sales and Distribution --> Assign sales area to credit control area).
=> Customer master (payers sales area segment)
and the final one is
the user exit (EXIT_SAPFV45K_001) to derive the credit control area from all the fields in the sales order header.
thanks

hi anil,
what Lakshmipathi is telling is we can determine credit control area in four different ways. one by the CCA assignment to the comp code, two CCA assignment to sales area in enterprise structure, three by the CCA assignment in the customer master data in sales area tab and fourth one is to pick it dynamically by calling a user exit that you have mentioned. The exit takes into consideratino the sales order header data.
well i thought the explanation of Lakshmipathi was clear.
