Hi experts,
Has anybody an idea if and how I can influence the BP number in BADI BUPA_INBOUND?
I use the BADI for the synchronization of HRM and BP in S/4 Hana. Unfortunately the customer requirement is to have a specific external number range for employees (numeric prefix + personnel number). To enable synchronization and automatic creation of BP from HR employee I need the BP number changed.
Any hints are welcome. Thank you.
Hi,
Using HRALX PNUMB and HRALX PSUBG switch : use these switches to provide/configure to have different number range to BP. refer T77S0 switch documentation for more info.
You can also refer, Simplification list note 2340095’s attachment where sync reports functionality s explained in detail.
This functionality was not available in early version, check you are in appropriate SP if not you can implement the note 2361914
Best regards, Suresh

Hi,
thanks for your feedback. I use /SHCM/RH_SYNC_BUPA_FROM_EMPL for creation/synch of HCM employee with BP in S/4 HANA. I have only one S/4 client with HCM data (more or less name of employee and email address) and BP.
SLG1 repeats errors with number ranges that do not correspond.
I want the BP (BUP003) to be created automatically (by daily synch run) after employee is created.
best regards
Jens

Hi, not too sure about your scenario.
How do you sync your employees with S/4?
Do you have a stand-alone HCM system?
How do you sync your employees with S/4 BP? Do you use messaging or the sync report /SHCM/RH_SYNC_BUPA_FROM_EMPL?
