Routines

Dear All,

I am new to SAP BI. Kindly tell me the difference between

1. Start Routine

2.End Routine

3.Expert Routine

4.Routine for determining characteristics, Keyfigures,datafields etc.

I am all confused when to use what??!!

    Hi Jack,

    Start Routine : If any routine written at this level (start routine level) this will execute before transformations.

    End Routine : If any routine written at this level this will execute after tranformations time.

    Expert Routine : Without mappting any tranformations physically we can propose Transformations with the help of expert routine (with the help of ABAP code) i.e, we can transformation Rules with the help of this routine.

    if use this routine all the proposed rules breaks by default.

    Trasfer routine: If any routine written at this level this will execute at transformations time.
