MS Outlook email configuration for Incident life cycle workflow WS00500001

Hi Experts,

I have activated the incident life cycle workflow WS00500001 and it is being triggered whenever new incident is getting reported in system. as per standard workflow design, all the email notification and work item goes in SBWP only.

my requirement is

  1. Incident manager is to be notified through MS outlook email with hyperlink in its body so that on click, manager can be directly redirected to NWBC where he can review the incident.
  2. i also want to attach PDF document (initial incident details) in MS outlook email so that even without going to NWBC, manager opens the attachment and can get the high level incident details.

kindly suggest me if any configuration is to be done in SPRO for these two points.

Hi Jagesh,

I too have same requirement. I am new to EHSM technical and my customer needs different level of approval too.

We are trying customize the workflow and Incident Management process.

If it is to be notified via email you would have to adapt and copy the workflow to a new one. Also change the SWE2 settings.

Hi,

Soumya (dada), workflow copy is to be done that is correct, but the challenging task is to get the PDF details at runtime (before workflow gets triggered) and use this PDF content in customized workflow step for sending it in email attachment.

let me now if you want more technical details, i have done it successfully.
