time entries

hai experts,

when we are recording time events for an employee in a particular shift,if he is assigned with shift timing 6 am to 2 pm,he entered the workplace at 6 am and again went out at9am and again came back at9.30 am,and again went at 1pm and again returned at 1.30 pm,as per his shift timing he went out at 2 pm.how the system consider his clock in and clock out times,as he is having multiple entrie

    hi chiran,

    you can give multiple break schedules in 'work break schedule table T550P' to your personnel subgroup grouping. just try this table.

    the system maintains each in/out times as an individual record. and it tries to compare these records with the DWS, Break schedule, Absence /att records, substitutions etc. if the empl is absent during the working hrs (and if he doesnot have a absence record in 2001 infotype) the system automatically throws an error to admin. So many validations are done in Time evaluation.
