Industry solution and by product classification

Dear All ,

We had recived one SAP fresh implementation project , ie is for bio-chemical company . They have nearly one main product and 3 by product comes in between process . One main product has 6processing methods in that one of the basic raw material will change in each procss , my question is ,

1. Which industry solution will fit for this company?. Processing Industry- Chemical or something else?.

2. Whether we have to go for both baseline pakage + IS - Chemical both?

3.Which production planning we have to choose , Repetative , PP-PI or some thing else ?.

4. How to maintain by product in product structure and material master data ?

Hi,

Your client must have decided what he is buying- IS solution or R/3.

these are decided at the time of MOU itself in implementing partner and client.

every SAP product has a different cost.

Your Presales team or delivery head will have the details.

I am doing an implememnation where IS solution is also available but the client has choosen R/3 at the pilot phase.

Even SRM is kept for other phases.

I know this will not serve your purpose, my suggestion is you get in touch with the delivery team and go through the project scope document. I think your questions will be addressed
