Visual Administrator and JCO RFC Provider for the CE 7.1

Hello...,

I just installed the new CE 7.1 and right now I want to define a JCO-RFC-Provider (for an outbound connection). In the SAP NetWeaver 2004s I was able to define the JCO-Provider in the Visual Administrator -> Services -> JCO-RFC-Provider, but I can not find the Visual Administrator in the CE 7.1. I can connect to the NWA (localhost:50000/nwa) and find a lot of new configuration possibilities, but nothing for the JCO-RFC-Provider? Is it not possible to define a JCO-RFC-Provider in the CE 7.1 and where is the Visual Admin?

It would be very grateful, if somebody of you could help me!

Hi Stefan,

There is no Visual Admin as of Netweaver CE, you should use nwa instead.

To create JCo RFC Provider goto the quick link: /nwa/jco-destinations
