Hi Guys,

I did try to look for good documentation on Jump Queries. Did not get one good link or my search criteria was bad.

Can anyone please send me documentation or link on jump queries? How to create them? Examples? Things to take care off and Things to watch out for. Advantages and etc and etc.

Thanks in advance and points will be awarded generously.

Hi,

One advantage of of Jump to is for jumping from a Summary Report to a detail report.

For example consider you want to see the item details of an order. You can jump from the order report to item details report of the order.

Hope this gives better idea on Jump to

hi, go to RSBBS : this is the T-Code to jump from one query(Source Query) to Different locations.

first select your source query: from which u want to jump to different locations.

Now, your requirement is to jump to a T-Code in R/3 ...so First., Click on " Create" to create a new rule to maintain Sender - Reciever relation.

select Report Type as "Transaction" radio button. Then This T-code is not in your BW system...it is in your R/3 system, means in a different Source system.

so, in bottom Target system ...select " source system" Radio button and mention your R/3 source system Id ... CJI3

then click on "Transfer" button...then on top ..ciick on SAVE button.

Now from the source query u mention here, you can jump directly to the Target R/3 Transaction..

hope it helps...

Hi,

Many thanks for your reply and you have been very clear.

In fact I tried what you told me but it is not that simple.

I found one post that describes exactly my problem but till now I haven't find any answer.

I repost the message here so maybe some of you can help me:

"When we try to set up RRI from BW reports to ECC CJI3 transaction, we get an error message (Stop message):

-

You cannot use the report-report interface to call up report RKREP000

Diagnosis

Line Item report RKPEP000 is not suitable for the report/report interface

Procedure

Always enter RKPEP000 as the receiver report for project line items in the report/report interface. This program uses the transfer parameters to determine which line item reports can be accessed.

-

Can someone advice on how to go about the procedure as I'm not sure where to eneter RKPEP000, we've attempted to put it in Receiver Object in RSBBS but it doesn't do the jump either."

I already inserted the RKPEP000 and the RKPEP003 as receiver but it didn't work so please if someone can help me I would be very greatful.

JM,

We use them a bit to jump from a document number in SD to the actual Credit Note in R/3. Also in FSCM we use the RRI to jump into the R/3 Collections Management screens.

Some us of RRI's from PA Cube reports to ODS reports. The user runs the summary and if there is an issue they can use the RRI to jump into an ODS to review the numbers at document level.

Hi,

I guess you are talking of RRI Report to Report Interface ie jumping from one query to other query

The tcode used for the same is RSBBS one is the source and the other is target.

The query whose inputs are used to jump is a source query and the later is the target on which query u want to jump.

For more info u can search SDN by RRI. Assign points if applicable

Thanks
