what is the Tcode to maintain the material categories like Restricted Stock, Unresrticted Stock etc for diff materials in a plant

Hi Balaraju,

If you want to maintaine different categories to the material stock means, you can do this while posting the stock.

Use the T.Code MB1C - Its used to enter the stock for the materials.

Here you have to give inputs like

Movement type

Plant

storage location

special stock etc.

Here Movement type and special stock indicator play crucial role while posting the stock.

Based on this movment type one the stock will be categoriesed whether its special stock, unresticted, etc.

Hi Balaraju,

To maintain Material in specific stocks like restricted and so on we dont have a TCode but you can use

MB1C with specific movement types to get material into that stock.

For example MB1C with 561/501 sends to regular (unrestricted stock)

with 104 (not sure of this one) into Special stock and so on.

Talk to your MM counter parts to find the correct movement types.
