hi all,

In t.code OMB2 there is a check box automatic creation of storage location for PLANT and MOMT type ,what if i check or uncheck the box?

    Hi,

    If you have not maintain storage location data for particular storage location in material master and if you want to enter GR in that storage location then system will atutomatically create storage location data for that when you post Goods reciept that storage location ,If it is not check the system will give you error message that material does not exist for Plant and storage location.

    whnever u r store a material in a storage location then u need to tel this to system

    u can do this by giving the sloc at the time of material master creation or use tcode mmsc

    and if u do not mark the check box a.o. sloc. creation then then system will issue u an erro message as given in the above post .basically system creates a data autom. that so n so material can be stored at that sloc
