Scenario: I have a work order. the work was executed by the engineering department. the approval from the served party that the work order is already complete should be done in SAP.

Engineering department says that TECO should be their process.

Question: is there such a way other than TECO to indicate that the finished job is accepted by the requesting party?

Technical completion is the one which specifies the the time taken to complete the job and entering the technical finding of the object.hence it will useful if the engineering dept will have the authorize to do that

what should i give the requesting party so that they can indicate that they are satisfied with the job and that they are acknowledging that the equipment is already running well?

Hi Kim,

In my current project iam facing the same problem they even need quality check from the quality before the breakdown is closed but the problem will be time taken by the quality as well as other people from prod will make break down time more or unrealistic..they want seprate time confirmation for actual work done, time taken by as well as time taken by quality to certify the machine is all right for production

hi

what you can do is create aun user status which can only be changed by production people and also permit TECO as soon as your work is completed you can ask them to cross check then ask the production people to change the user status.After changing the user status then maintenance people can Technically complete the order

in IMG you can create user status profile and assign to the order type

i dont undrstand the fields in status profile.. i have to study them..

Dear Kim,

As i see you can assign user status to the order automatically and you can bar TECO using the status

Only problem i see is you have to give authorization to too many users other then maintenance people
