Kindly suggest, what kind of setting do I need to do to bring QM lot (category BU) for planning in APO from R/3

Is any customizing setting required?

If you are using SCM 4.0 up then you can bring QM Lot / Inspection Lots to APO from R/3.

In R/3 side SPRO >> Integration with other SAP Components >> APO >> Application-specific Settings and Enhancements >> Settings for Stocks

Setup Transfer of Inspection Lots to APO needs to be checked.

Then create Integration Model for Inspection Lot and activate it.

Inspection Lots should then be in APO.

Dear Somnath,

With your guidence, we could bring QM lot in APO.

Now we want it to get considered in Planning.

So kindly suggest in which planning object structure & fey figure of planning area we should add category BU, so that it will get considered during planning.

If you want PPDS or CTM to consider QM Lots for Planning set "Stock in Quality Inspection" flag in Available Stocks under Demand tab of Location Product Master.

If its SNP then you need to add BU in the appripriate Category Group - most likely FP1 which is mapped to Production Confirmed keyfigure.

Hope this helps.

I want to add it to SNP. I have checked & very much convinced that it should be added to FP1, but FP1 is attached in two Planning Obj. Struct., ( 9ASNPBAS & 9AMALO) so in which "Planning Obj. Struct" am I supposed to added this BU category.

The category BU is added to the Category Group only in SPRO.

It is not dependent on the Planning Object Structure.
