J2EE connection for NWDS

Hi,

I am using Netweaver Developer Studio. I developed an application and tried to deploy it. But this application is not started. There is a messages saying to check the message server is running or not.

when i checked it is running where as J2EE server is local host. But my server name is SAPSERVER.

Netweaver developer studio is installed in C drive where SAP is in D drive. What is the problem exactly? Please help me..

Hi,

If you want to deploy J2EE applications, you will have to set settings for the server under th foll. menu.

Windows -> Preferences -> SAP J2EE engine.

There instead of localhost, give the host name of your server and port is the message port like 3600 or 3900 or 3901 etc.

You can find the message server port from

http://ussbbdd5.ussb.astrazeneca.net:50000/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo

Login with Admin account to check the port.
