info source

Hi Experts,

i am loading data from the one ods to another ods.But i dont want to use the export datasource. i want to create the infosource from that i want to load the one ods to another ods.

can anybody explain how to do that.

iam using netweaver 2004s.

    Hi,

    You need not use infosource in your scenario.

    You can directly create transformation between your source and target DSOs, and then you can create DTP for tha particular transformation to load the data from source DSO to targte DSO. For Recommendations for Using InfoSources, you can go hrough the link:

    Hi,

    Copy all info objects in your level 1 Info Source which supplies data to ODS1 now goto info source tab create your info source under the application component and assign the source system which is your BI system, and in communication structure give the fields which you have copied from level 1 info source and activate it and assign it to your level 2 ODS while creating update rules and load data. you can copy and paste your level 1 Data source structure also in level 2 data source.
