Hi, the following situation took place in our system. We tried to close
fiscal year 2007 (AJAB transaction) in module AA, but system drop the
following error message:
Incorrect depreciation/values actualization
Partially/Not completely posted depreciation
These errors messages dont allow us to close fiscal year 2007, so we
cannot open fiscal year 2009.
Recently, we implemented a system modification in depreciation
calculation customizing (AFAMA transaction). Since SAP implementation,
the standard calculation method was 0009 Normal: Useful Life
Percentage (attenuation).
Treatment of end of depreciation:
Dep. after plnd.life end
Dep.below NBValue zero
Curb
With this customizing setting we obtain various fixed assets
depreciation value higher than their cost value.
After implementing the improvement mentioned above, when we run the
depreciation calculation (AFAB transaction), system automatically
corrected fixed assets which values were higher than their cost values.
However, system didnt correct depreciation values of fixed assets of
fiscal year 2006, which is already closed.
These fixed assets dont allow us to close fiscal year 2007. So, we
arent able to open fiscal year 2009.
Regards!
Hi
When you are executing the transaction AJAB it will give the assets which are causing the problem. Based on the assests Open the FI calander for Assets as stated below.
open FI calendar for Dec 2007
change the depreciation key to '0000' ( Ofr all the depreciation areas on the asset master through AS02)
close Dec 2007
run BCF
change back the depreciation key to thye normal ones.
