KSA VAT Note 2477105

vat1.jpgvat2.jpg

Hi,

I am following SAP note - 2477105. For procurement process, it asks to use condition type MWVS with access sequence 0003. I have following queries -

Since condition type is assigned to access sequence we are suppose to create at least one condition record for material by assigning a code to tax ind. for material field in purchasing view of material master. Is it absolutely mandatory to have access sequence to condition type or we can live with out access sequence?

2nd query, if I select V2 tax code of 5% lets say, this VAT value is getting calculated in tax condition tab in PO line item(invoice tab), but the calculated amount is not flowing to MWVS condition type in condition tab of PO. As a result, during GR, VAT amount is not getting added to material cost.

Any one faced such issue? Please let me know. Have attached 2 screen shot for clarification.

Regards,

Dipak

VAT is a deductible tax and will never end in the material costs.

What is the reason why you do not want to use access sequence 0003?

    Yes, agree.

If we use access sequence 0003 in MWVS, we need to set at least an indicator in purchasing view of material master and a condition record based on this parameter to trigger the condition in pricing procedure which I see works if I create PO. Although we need to change this parameter for all the materials. That's the reason I wanted to avoid access sequence. Looks like we have to live with this 0003.

2nd point - Screen shot attached. Lets say I user V1 with 5%, the 5% should flow to MWVS to line item condition tab in pricing procedure. Correct? But which is not the case now. Or I am wrong here?
