Plnd delivery time

Dear Gurus,

Inspite of giving plnned delivery time in mat master of component(externally procured through scheduling agreements)

system shows schedule lines delivery dates same as schedule line creation date.

where I am missing please guide.

check in oppq / oppr whether scheduling info record / agreement indicator has been maintained for external procurement.

Yes it is maintened in OPPQ and we are not using mrp groups.

What is the source is assigned to you supply?? Because when source is not assigned, MRP calculates the Planned del time from Material master if there is one.

Once source is assigned the Planned delivery time will not get updated because there is no calculation for it for the purchase req created by MRP. Once MRP runs for the next time it gives an exception as to Sch in or Sch out or if it is OK then no message is generated.

Further if the Planned delivery time is present on Purchasing documents and if source list points to the document then when MRP runs it brings in the value of Planned delivery time from the purchasing document when source is assigned.

You mean to say that, No need of source list while creating schedule lines through MRP?

Hello,

if you use SA for supplying the pl. deliv. time and the GR. proc. time in the material master are not used.

The values in the SA are used.

You can modify them with ME32L and in the Item Additional Data in the section Administration you can find the fields.

As I understood from your update that you are speaking about the schedule line creation.

For this prerequisite is:

For the material, there is a valid entry relevant to MRP in the source list.

Hi,

Goto ME32L - change scheduling agreement & assign the plan delevery time = 5 day at addtional data screen and run the MRP.

Now system will calculate the delivery date from MRP run date (today)

Planned delivery time is maintained at

Material Master,

Purchasing Info record,

Scheduling Agreement.

Hi,

Please try below settings,

1.Deselect past allowed indicator at SPRO

2. Maintain the Pld del Time at Scheduling agreement.

3.select the "scheduling info/schedule agree. " check box at OPPQ.

when run the MRP for Header, dep requiremts will be created with reqirement date.(may be 25.02.2008 )

For that date system will calculate delivey date, if it is past (25.02.2008 - 5 days) sytem will propose delivery date as 26.02.2008 starting from today date (mrp run) . (21.02.2008+ 5 days)

I have tested ur case ,

Dear Pradeep,

I have done all the settings you given and tested as follows,

Planned Ind Repmt for header mat given on 22.02.2008 as

22.02 10 pcs

23.02 12 pcs

24.02 15 pcs

25.02 20 pcs

and run the mrp. In stock/reqmt list of component I found that schedul lines generated as on 27.02.2008 for all the reqmts. As I given reqmt for header mat on 22.02.2008 the date 27.02.2008 is ok But when I open the schedule lines by double clicking on schedule lines it shows delivery date same as sch line creation date

Hi Dhananjay,

I am also getting surprise about different delivery dates at MD04 and inside the delivery schedule lines. Generally if u have defined any GR processing time means it will vary.

Please Change the Lotsize to EX from TB. Please also let us know “scheduling” settings for Lotsize TB at OMI4.

SAP recommends the following settings for MRP and scheduling agreement release

1.Material Master Record

2.Deterministic planning procedure (e.g. PD).

3.Exact lot-size calculation (e.g. EX).

4.Separate MRP group for materials you wish to procure by means of scheduling agreement releases (see below: MRP Group for Materials Ordered via SA Releases).

5.Choose Procurement type F (external procurement) in the MRP 2 view to have scheduling agreement delivery schedule lines generated in materials planning.

Hi,

I hope ur not using any MRP group & have assigned plnd delivery time at inforecord & "scheduling info record/ Agreem " seetings at OPPQ.

I hope ur getting schedule line delivery date same on requirement date, if not plx explain

Please also check have u set start in past allowed for ur plant at SPRO ->MRP->Planning ->Parameters for dertermining the basic date.

Inthis case system will not do forward scheduling.

Hi,

Note: This plant specific settings, it may affect other materail scheduling also

Please letus give some inputs,

1.Requiremet date to which SL to be created.

2.Delivery date of SL,

3.Lot Size of SL material

Dear Pradeep,

I tried with removing the tick from 'allowed in past' but results are same with schedul lines. But for purchase requisition system gives delivery date after 5 days of creation date which is as per our expectation.

and why not with schedule lines.

MRP type is PD, Lot Size is TB(Daily lot size)

If i give a planned independent repmt of header mat on 25.02.2008, then system is showing schedule line creation date of child part (which is procured externally through scheduling agreement) is same as 25.02.2008 and delivery date also same as 25.02.2008.

we want delivery date after 5 days of creation date
