Sb04 and Sasap error in SAP 4.6c

When we run SB04 or Sasap in SAP 4.6c we get an error.

Error launching the implementation assistant.

I checked Sap and it recommends to install Solution Manager for Sap 4.6c.

My question is

Once we install Solution Manager can we run SB04 & Sasap or have they been replaced by other transactions.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Joe

    Joseph,

The functiionality that you are referring to has been transfered into SAP Solution Manager. SB04 and SASAP are now components of this system but not in the same fashion. The recommendation to install Soluiton Manager is to get the same type of project functionality although it will not be delivered in the method that you are describing.

ASAP, ValueSAP are now contained in the Solution Manager RoadMaps and this is how SAP deliveres its accelerators and project details in reference to its systems - and how it continues to innovate and add new content.

Although I did check and there is a SASAP T-Code in Solution Manager 7.0 SR2, it is now an area menu with Solution Manager processes.

Overall adding Solution Manager to your landscape will not re-enable T-Codes SASAP or SB04 on your 4.6c System.
