Hi Santosh,

I added a few more tags to your question, as this is about the NetWeaver platform (presumably ABAP platform), and specifically inter-operation between instances on Windows and Linux. I made a guess about the Linux tag, as there are four different variants, so please edit and correct this tag if yours is one of the other Linux variants.

As the \sapmnt share should be on your central instance, presumably \\sapsrv25 is the Linux instance. Have you ensured that it is accessible from the Windows server when you are logged on with the <sid>adm account and/or the SAPService<SID> service account?

Cheers,
Matt

Some more questions:

if "sapsrv25" is the Linux host containing the (A)SCS instance or a central instance (that's (A)SCS + a dialog instance), how should Windows 2012 (R2?) access a share "sapmnt" on this host? Via NFS? Via SMB (in that case, there must be a Samba server running on sapsrv25)? How about the users? Do you use a central Active Directory or LDAP? How do you map Unix users to Windows users / groups?

Best regards,

Kalle
