Access EJB dc from Portal DC

Hi all,

Can anyone give me a step by step approach to accessing an EJB DC from a portal component? I have tried all the possible threads in sdn relating to this issue, but couldnt find a solution.

The issue is, in my portal component I am not able to reference the bean's home interface. In the studio it gives error saying "cannot resolve the symbol". What am I missing?

Hi Laxmi,

Have you added the EJB DC as used DC in your portal DC?

Alternatively you can add the client jar of your EJB project to your portal project.

Thanks Prashant...It worked when I added as a used Dc. Previously I was trying with the client jar which didnot work
