Actual distribution Cycle in closed period

Hi All

a) What is the table that is updated once we run allocation cycle 4KE5. I m not sure but I think its GLPCT.

b) Once we post through 4KE5 where exactly the amount is updated FI side or CO side as I could not find any FI document associated with it or any G/L account updated after running it.

c) Is there any option to run all pending allocation cycles through 4KE5 (period 1-10) in period 11 without opening periods on FI side & or posting in any G/L in closed periods (1-10).

a) please check COEP Table in case of cost centers and if cost center has profit center assignment then check GLPCT

b) Actual cost distribution cycle allocates only cost in controlling module. it will not post any financial document in FI. for checking the basis of allocation you have to view the cost allocation cycle in T code KSV3.

c) as i said it will not effect FI posting you can run previous month cost allocation cycles provided that in CO previous periods are open. you can check CO periods in OKP1 and OKP2. you cannot allocate cost from period 1-10 in period 11. you have to allocate it in each month.
