Good afternoon.
We are about to go live with a new customer. We decided to use the SAP Business Client ( 6.5 ) - because the customer uses alot of different UI techonologies ( SAPGUI, WDA, UI5, FIORI etc).
We have one issue though.
When the users logon - using SAP Business Client - they can open alot of tabs with different things. But when they open to many "sap gui" sessions - they get a warning. The problem however, is that the warning is on the first sapgui tab that was opened - and this tab does not get forced focus.
So instead of "loading" the tab - it just hangs - while the warning is on a complete different tab.
We have searched wide and far for a solution - but have not been able to find any solution.
Is it somehow possible to make nwbc stop opening new tabs - after a certain amount of tabs are opened etc?
Best regards
Ronni

There is no limitation from SAP BC side, except a memory limit. It is possible to open 100
windows, but be careful; some servers limit the number of open sessions. For example, by default, SAP
J2EE limits the number of open Web Dynpro JAVA applications to 20.There is a limit of 16 on the number of SAP GUI sessions. The default number is 6. Note: Each and every side panel is using an extra session. So the number of six might in any case not be enough.
