Result field in activities

Hello,

i have a small question about activities. In the activities exists a field named result. At the moment this field is empty in the PCUI and if I want to change the activity in the SAPGUI this field is deactivated.

How can I activate this field and where can I define the items which can be selected?

Hi Phillip,

Thats because the subject profile is not assigned to the transaction type.

in SAP GUI it gets deactivated and in PCUI it is a drop down fiels and hence it shows empty.

Hi Phillip,

Subject profile will have code group profile and this code group profile will have code groups and codes.

These are assigned to the transaction type in SPRO under transactions->settings for activities->maintain transaction customizing for activities -> assign status profile and subject profile for each transaction type

The subject profile is configured under define activity reasons in settings for activities under transactions

Source from SAP:

Your employees are currently conducting a telephone campaign to find out whether a group of customers wish to subscribe to your company newsletter. Each employee creates an activity "telephone call" for each call they make to a customer.

In the Reason field, the user chooses the reason Awaken interest and this remains constant throughout the activity's lifespan. This is the activity reason.

Once the call is finished, the user assigns status Completed to the activity. The customer wishes to subscribe to the newsletter, so the user chooses Successful - customer interested in the Outcome field. However, the next customer does not wish to subscribe, so the user chooses the outcome Unsuccessful with the reason Too expensive. These are the status reasons.

Hi Srini,

at all Transaction Types there is a subject profile, but this fills the field Reason. At the transaction type visit the field result is filled. But at all other activities not.

Have you an idea?

Hi Philipp,

You need to define codes and code groups under Activity Reason and this will be responsible for the result field and you also have Activities: Reason for Status and this will fill the reason field.

So when you configure the subject profile, if you want the result to be filled then under catalog A1: Activity Reason you need to define the codes and code groups.

Hi Srinivasa ,

I have configured status profile and subject profile .Assigned status profile to T type and assigned Subject profile to status profile in activity customizing.

To show this status reasons we need the Result field in the UI .

I am trying to enable this result field in the Web UI in CRM 7.0 .

I am unable to find the same using BSP or AET . Could you please help .
