HI,

For Capacity Availability Check, follow the points.

1. Assign the Man Power (Caoacity) in Work center and assign the formula in the same.

2. In the Capacity tab, you have to assign the Pver load percentage (eg:0,10 or 25%)

3. In OIOI t.code choose the Order type and you can define the Capacity Availability Check and the action aginst your checking result.

eg: order can be released or not. released with finite scheduling and etc.

4. Then if you generate Order and system will check and show the message according to your work center loading and OIOI settings.

For the Capacity profile in IMG, please provide the path.

1. In Capacity tab page, use

Other Formula - SAP008 (Proj: Reqtmns in Prcng). This relates to the internal Calculation of Available Capacity by system.

2. Overload - in Percentage

eg) Available Capacity of the Work Center is 100 mhrs. If you set Overload as 10%, the work center can be loaded with 110 mhrs. That means, in Maintenance Order the Work Center can be loaded 110 mhrs per day. If the Capacity requirement Crosses 110 mhrs, sysytem will throw message according to the IMG setting.

3. If we set the Indicator Relevant to finite scheduling,

we will have the flexibility to continue with MO processing even though the Work Center is Over loaded (If you have this option, during the pop up meesage by system at the time of overloading, we can manually adjust the Capacity and proceed with the process)

4. Can be used by several Operations -

Capacity of Work Center id 100 mhrs. Capacity requirement for One Operation in an Order is 50 mhrs. In this case, if you have not selected the "Can be used " option, remaining 50mhrs can not be utilized for the whole day by any other Operation. So it ie advisable to enable this option, so that maximum utilzation can be done.

5. Long Term Planning -

As the name indicates, it is basically to plan the Capacity Requirements/assignments in long term.

eg) Planning of Spares, Man power in a Maintenance Plan

Hope this will solve ur clarification.

hi,

are u talking about the Overall Profile in Capacity Availability filed group.

If so, then no need to create a separate profile for that. You can select the standard Profile ids' which are available in system.

eg) SAPPM_G001 to SAPPM_G020

hi,

we have used the standard profile only.

SAPPM_G013 - PM: Capacity availability check >= 3.0D

It is better to use the available profile only. SAP gurus, Please correct me if i am wrong.
