IBP Excel : No time data. Ask your administrator to check the planning area configuration

Hello Team,

I have created time profile, generated time periods, master data, planning level, key figures and activated as per the model config document.

But when i try to login into excel add in to view my planning area. It gives me below error message. I have generated time periods through the application job.

No time data. Ask your administrator to check the planning area configuration.

I have created a new planning area in that too i am getting the same error. Please help to resolve the message.

I have checked the previous incident on the same issue.(https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3529395)

there are no discrepancy in my time periods. Time periods attached for reference.91-template.txt.

Harshad

Dear Harshad,

One possible root cause for this issue is value for parameter MAX_DIM_MEMBERS in Global Configuration Parameter. Please make sure no commas or dots are defined, e.g. '20,000'. It should contain the value without any commas or dots, i.e. '20000'.

If issue persists, please attach the Time Profile .csv file instead of .txt file. It is easier to analyze in our side.

Best regards,
Matheus

Hello Matheus,

Thanks for the reply. I have maintained the parameter MAX_DIM_MEMBERS = 20000 in Global configuration. But the issue still persists. I have created a new planning area from scratch, in that PA it is showing the same error. Please help us to resolve this issue.

I cannot attach .csv file as per restriction of the forum. Only below file extension are acceptable.

Your attachment must be one of: txt, xml, gif, png, jpeg, jpg, jpe

I have attached the screen shot of the time profile. Please let me know if there is any other way to send .csv file.

Hello Harshad,

Thank you for confirmation!

As .csv files cannot be uploaded and this would facilitate to analyze it, I'd suggest you to create an incident with SAP Product Support under component SCM-IBP-INT and attach the .csv file in there.

Best regards,
Matheus

One of the steps that I want to carry out, but I have my doubts when executing it, but first I will tell you my steps with an example:

1.- I copied the Planning Area "X" (with ID: "300" of time profile) with Dependency where this new Planning Area is "Y" which creates it with new Master Data with the prefix OP3, and the Profile of Time with the ID “365”.

2.- I activated all the new Master Data of the new Planning Area with the prefix “OP3”.

3.- I activated in the "time Aggregation Profiles" application the time profile with data similar to those contained in the ID "300"

4.- Now I have my doubts about whether the following activity would be good:

4.1 Go to the “Data integration” application

4.2 Download the template with the following characteristics:

4.3 So, after downloading the time profile file (the ID “360”) for Planning Area X, would it be correct to upload this data for the time profile ID: “365” for the new Planning Area “Y”?

Am I missing some steps?

Thank you very much

Hello Team

I tell you that it is the first time that I try to create a new Planning Area, in which I made a copy of P.A. with dependency, however, I have a problem similar to the one commented by Harshad since when starting the Add IN, the following message appears : "No time data. Please ask your administrator to check the planning area settings." Could you tell me what was the solution please? Thank you very much.
