Dangerous Goods - Controls in Purchasing

Dear friends !

Does anyone knows the controls that standard system allow us to do.

We need to check a valid date to buy this goods , and is it possible in MM ?

Should I use EH&S ?

Any error message in PO when I buy this goods ?

Any friend could explain this controls to me !?

Dear friend !

We are buying dangerous goods.

This dangerous goods must have some certificates from the Army. And this certificates has limit to end.

I only should be able to buy if valid date is ok.

When PO is created we wanna to receive a msg sent by system that certificate is valid or not and not allow PO be saved.

Is it possible ? or dangerous goods functionality is only for sales documents ?

I would solve this issue by using Quality inforecords defined in QM for procurement transactions beneath the QM path.

Alternative, but without proper info, you can just set a source list requirement in material master and then setting the validity end date respectivly in source list.

Hi,

Yes you are right.You have to use EH&S for dangerous goods configurations.

We have to do the configurations related to dangerous goods under SPRO-Environment, health & saftey--Dangerous goods management.
