Stock determination strategy auto batch determination not working.

Hi All,

I have setup stock determination correctly for a plant, i have done the config and in mm02 added the strategy to the material. When issuing to production order MB26 i select stock strategy and it works fine as i expect it but when I select batch determination it doesn't? Why is that?

How do i resolve this. All parts in our company are batch managed. I want it to work that if i click on batch determination it should check the stock determination strategy as it has been configed

rather then using stock determination u need to make use of batch search strategy as in case of batch managed material u will be having lots of batches and with the use of stock determination strategy it is not possible to achive

go to logistics genral>batch management >batch mangement search strtaegy

create selction class

create sort sequence

create condition table

create access sequence else condition type

mention the selection class and sort sequence in conditiontype

assign condition type to the batch search strategy

assign search to the movement type

create condition record using tcode mbc1
