I checked the FERT material for both in TEST and Production server found

In test server

"Total replenishment lead time (in workdays)" -- 20 days

In production server

"Total replenishment lead time (in workdays)" -- 45 days

this could be the problem....?

Hi

Total replinishment time is the time that takes from the date of P.O to supply of material to you plant. It is procurement time.

So your reorder stock should be based on the consumption per day and the replinishment time.

Ex if your consumption per day 2 Nos and the replinishment time is 10 days . You reorder stock should be mimimum ( 10 X 2 = 202 )= 22 . So that before the stock exhausted the material will be supplied to the plant. Make some contingency stock so that your re order stock should be 22 ( 7 X 2 ) = 36 Nos keeping one week caushion.

Hi,

Start the total planning run for master schedule items or single-item planning for master schedule items.

You use interactive planning to check the planning result and finely tune the master plan for the master schedule items.

Once the master plan has been finely tuned for the master schedule items, you start the total planning run for all dependent parts.

You can start the planning run for all BOM levels directly from the total planning run for MPS. To do this, you set the indicator Process MRP materials in the initial screen of the total planning run for MPS. The system will only plan the other BOM levels if this indicator is set.

Check this indicator has been there in test server and not in

Hi Srinivas

Check wheather BOM gets exploded in production server you can see in plan order details itself.. See the Validity dates of BOM header material. And also see the system dates of Production server.

As said earlier by PP gurus See the MRP type used for header material. It should MPS such as M0, M1 etc.,

You can see the IMG of M0, M1etc., Whether the MRP procedure is MPS or not.

Hi,

Check the material master MRP dep requirements to make sure it is "Blank" not "1" and also check the BOM status in BOM header.

Let me know

Please Check if you have maintained planning file entires for the components (Check in MD21) and also whether you have converted all the MRP areas in to planning file entries (In SPRO)
