Duplicate Check Pop Up not coming in CRM UI Web IC

Hi Experts,

I have configured the Duplicate Check functionality in CRM .

We have DQM integrated with CRM and I have enabled the Duplicate Check settings from Address Management Customizing.

Now the Duplicate Check Pop Up is coming into CRM GUI.

But in CRM Web IC, the Pop Up is not coming.

So here to summarize:

Address Validation Pop Up :working in CRM GUI and CRM Web IC.

Duplicate Check Pop UP:

working in CRM GUI and NOT WORKING in CRM Web IC.

Can you please let me know why the Duplicate Check Pop Up is NOT coming in CRM Web IC?

Is there any update to my query?
It would be helpful if any one can share some insights regarding the query which I have mentioned.

Please check the steps in note 1692370 and 1631690.

Also check the KBA 2182784.

Thanks for the answer.

However from the Notes you mentioned , I can see that these are based on Duplicate Check using TREX .However we have configured the Duplicate Check on Hana System .We have enabled DQM for the Duplicate Check Configurations.


SAP CRM 7.0 19 (06/2017) SAP CRM 7.0 / NW7.01

The issue is the Duplicate Check Pop up is appearing at CRM GUI but not at CRM Web UI.

We have configured the DQM Address Check Validation and the Address Validation Pop Up is coming in Web IC nut not the Duplicate Check Pop up.

Can you please throw some light on this?

Hello Avik:

Firstly, please set user parameter WCF_IGNORE_ENHANCEMT to A and check if the issue happens without any of your custom enhancements.

Secondly: please notice the duplicate check pop up will only appear on the 'SAVE' button. From there, you can choose a duplicate, or ignore and continue with the creation of the business partner.

Thirdly: When defining business role, a BPIDENT profile will be assigned to it. Note down this profile name. And then please go to the BPIDENT profile definition in SPRO->CRM->Interaction Center WebClient->Master Data->Define Account Identification Profiles, there are 'Check Account for Duplicates' and 'Check Contact Person for Duplicates'. Make sure they are checked.

And also, if click F1 on these two checkboxes, we can see the information pops up(Since duplicate check pops up in GUI, it seems you have implemented the BADIs. Please confirm):

If you select this indicator, the system checks for duplicates and displays them when an agent creates an account and chooses Save. This requires you to implement the following Business Add-Ins:
