Dear All,

Please let me know if there is any table to find tax indicators for articles in

Logistics:DC/store view of article master.

I am aware of MLAN table but this is country specific and I need to find similar table for site specific.

This is really important because we have several articles in our Retail systemsystem with tax indicator not marked in some of the stores.

Due to this users are not able to make change to that article as system is resulting in error as below

Tax category AB 2 is not defined for country 1.

For such cases,

1)we are checkingthe sitessites of country AB to which article is and

2)the corresponding tax classification from Tax data information maintained under Basic data view of Article Master and

3)updating the same value for Tax indicator in Logistics: DC or store viewview if it is missing for articles in any sites identified in step 1.

But now we are reported with about 200 articles and checkingchecking and updating tax indicator for all the sites individually has become so cumbersome and also, we need to know how many such articles exist system.

I appreciate if you can let me know any information which can help in solving this issue.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Manasa

There is no other table than MLAN for tax indicators in a material master.

SAP knows from your customizing in which country the site is and can access this table if the coding is right, but there are OSS notes confirming identified bugs that result exactly in the error you have. Use the message number M3019 to search for the OSS notes, there are too many to suggest one without knowing the details of your system

Transaction ANST can be used to find OSS notes. PANKS functionality can be used from the error message itself to check for OSS notes.

Correct, the tax is determined always by country.
On the Logistics DC/store tab, the corresponding T001W-LAND1 field will determine the tax code from MLAN.
