Hana Table Partition field selection

Dear Experts,

We have our ECC PRD system on HANA DB single node.

We are having alert in hana studio regarding table partition for more than 2 billion record.

Now my question is while doing hash table partition which primary field need to be selected ?

Should partition to be done on all the primary field ?

Should it be done on selective fields ? would it affect DB performance ?
