Hi,

i am having a problem. i am using Planning Strategy 10 i.e Make -to- Stock. when i run MRP the system should not consider the stock available. for example i am a stock of 10 nos of Material A. when i create Planned Independent Requirements using T.Code MD61 for 10 nos. during MRP run it should create Independent Requirements although for the material A stock available is 10.

Hi,

Even with planning strategy 10, you can make the system should not considering the available stock.

Use tcode OMDX, define planning horizon no of days make it Nil.

Now run mrp, system should not consider the available stock for new requirement.

Thanks for ur reply. in T.code omdx i made the planning horizon nil. then also MRP run is considering available stock. please tell me what should i do for this?

Hi,

Change the stock to Consignment based stock so that during MRP run it will not consider the existing stock. Please let me know wether it is working?

Prerequisites

You need to maintain the following master data for the finished product:

Maintain strategy group 11 on the MRP screen.

Set the Mixed MRP indicator to 2 on the MRP screen.

Maintain the item category group (for example, NORM) on the Sales Organization

screen.

Maintain the Availability check field so that you perform an availability check without the

replenishment lead time (checking group 02 in the standard system).
