Hi All,

We are having 3 system landscape DEV(FED - 300/400), QA(FEQ), PRD(FEP).

and tms configured as DEV => QA => PRD.

we have installed new DEV system FED - 100 .

We have to transport Customized Developements from QA to new DEV system how to perform this?

and how to configure TMS with both DEV systems, QA and PRD?

Regards,

Sandeep.

In these kind of scenarios, you can take a lot no of ways. For example, What you can do here is the TR that you have in the QA system, for that in usr\sap\trans folder there would be folders like in OS level data & cofiles. So, for that TR no, corresponding data & cofiles gets generated when you have a TR in a system when its in released state. So, all you have to do is copy those files from data & cofiles folder & then you go to FED system at OS level & in there, in the usr\sap\trans, you put the data file that you copied from QA system to that FED system usr\sap\trans\data folder location, you have to paste & similar also goes for the cofiles file. Now you login to the FED system & STMS -> Import Overview -> open the FED system, in the Menu options, select Extras -> Other Requests -> Add. Put the TR no. & Select the Checkbox like Import Again & then you click on the green tick mark & then you just Import like the normal system you Import a TR.

I have told you this process in a bit more elaborate way, because from your discussion we are not able to get a clear picture that the FED(300/400) & FED(100) are in same system or they are 2 different SAP systems. Whatever it is, you follow the above steps, it would easily accomplish your job.

Thanks,

In addition to the above, I would also like to ask you to search a bit & you can easily get answers like those scenarios. For example, you have asked

how to configure TMS with both DEV systems, QA and PRD?

So for this Transport Routes configuration, this matter is also mentioned in the Standard SAP site.

Thanks,
