mail ctrl in wm for immediate TO generation

Dear all,

how to activate the mail ctrl to the user in WM that the system has not created a TO when we have immediate transfer order creation.

kindly give me the config details of mail ctrl.

THX for your response. i am able to create to automatically.my case is if TO is not generated, the system should intimate the user via mail.

execute OMKZ

click assign receipient: enter your warehouse number, an idicator e.g. X, either flag the field document user (if you are sue that the document user is a human beeing, and not a system user) or enter the user-id in the next field. If you flag Express then the user will immediatly get a pop-up when a mail in SAP-office arrives.

click control data: enter the indicator that you defined before in field PASt to your warehouse and auto TO indicator.

Click Assign control and enter the auto TO indicator to the desired movements in your warehouse.

what are the reasons for transfer order not created automatically although all the settings for automatic to set up has been configured in IMG for the respective movement types.

Physical inventory in process, storage bin blocked, storage type blocked for placement or removal , storage bin has no capacity, no WM views maintained in material master, user is locking the quant, user is locking the bin.....

i have maintained the settings for mail ctrl as per your previous mail, but it is not working .

any other settings required for initiation beyond these settings.

Question

Where do you have to set the mail indicator?

Answer

This depends on the respective process. For the immediate TO creation for material documents and for the immediate TO creation for deliveries (using the WMTA message type), you must set the mail indicator in the corresponding entry in the T321 table. For the immediate TO creation for the production supply, you must set the mail indicator in the storage type of the production supply.

For the 'automatic TO creation', you must assign the mail indicator in Customizing to the 'Automatic TO creation' indicator that you have assigned to the WM movement type.

Hello All,

We have a user exit implemented to split the Transfer Order according to the number of handling unit in the delivery. For example, if there are 10 Handling Unit in the Delivery, 10 no's of TO will be created with each HU as a line item in each TO.

Now, the requirement came that the when delivery is created, the Transfer Order should automatically created.

I am using message type WMTA @ Delivery, but the system is not creating the split TO, means the user exit is in-effective in this case. It is creating one TO only with all HU quantity into one line item

Please help me how do do that.
