Default Cost Center in ME51N by Parameter ID

Hi Experts,

I need some advise. I want to have a default cost center based on user specific when creating PR.

1) I want to go with adding Parameter ID "KOS" in SU3. -- is this the correct way or is there any PID that I can use?

2) May I know the possible issue that I should take note if I want to proceed with this setting?

3) The program that can read this parameter ID and auto assign the cost center when account assignment "K" is selected.

Parameters are usually used in selection screens, ME51N does not have a selection screen and does not take the SU3 parameters into consideration. Instead you can maintain personal settings in ME51N, there is a bigger button in the application toolbar.

Cost center is not among them in standard, from OSS note 439731 you may get more information and see programs where it is processed
