Implementation Not Yet Live..!

Hello All,

My Solution is still under 'Implementation Not Yet Live' state but all business users are using the application past few years and we keep doing Patch movements, C4C Upgrades also takes place every 3 months, sometime we do hotfix/emergency fix in production.

Now i am planning to set the solution to Go Live as it is the suggested way.

By doing so i would like to know if there is any impact.

1. Does anything change with access to users.

2. Now i have Delete option even with Read Only role, will that change after Go Live. (Ideally delete should not be available, example i can delete visits, tasks.......)

3. I just want to know before and after facts of Go Live status of my solutions.

Can someone help me understand if there is any precautions to be taken care before going LIVE...

Thanks,

Meena

Test system cannot Go-Live. Hence, you cannot see the status as Go-Live.

As per the system design the watermark banner "Implementation Project not Yet Live" will be displayed as long as the First Implementation project in Business Configuration is not live

You should be careful before closing the last task Close Project, because once you close this task some of the parameters of the system can be changed later only by creating a Change Project.

When a system is not live, any scope change will be directly deployed to a productive system. After go-live you have the chance to test his scoping changes in a test system first.

Access to users will not be impacted unless there is a change

Now i have Delete option even with Read Only role, will that change after Go Live. (Ideally delete should not be available, example i can delete visits, tasks.......) ,

For the above statement I am not certain as in what you are referring to and additionally the delete of a Master / Transaction Data completely depends on the status of the document.

    Hello Prasanth,

Can you please elaborate this "When a system is not live, any scope change will be directly deployed to a productive system. After go-live you have the chance to test his scoping changes in a test system first."

We always do scoping individually in each tenants.. but you say is system is not live scope changes will be deployed to production and after go live test system.. its kinds confusing.

    Thanks,

    Meena
