How to hide fields in product master data

Hi gurus,

could you please tell if it's possible to hide fields in Product maintenance (tr. COMMPR01).

It's necessary to hide some fields in a standard Set type.

If you are using the gui. Use a transaction variant.

You can hide fields, prepopulate data, etc... with out making a mod.

Check out the online help on transaction variants. Old school but effective...

Hi Sunny,

Not sure if I can do it for GUI, but using UIconfig tool we can do it by logging in to UIconfig role and selecting the component we can hide fields rename it etc.
