Restriction rules

Hello eveyone!

I need to ensure that leads and opportunities are seen only by their owners.

I did restrict the access with condition "4" for leads, opportunities and pipeline simulation, yet people can still see all leads and opportunites.

Could you please help?

Hello Fernando,

In this case, we have some scenarios that we can consider:

1. User is allowed access to the documents of a party to the opportunity but does not realize it.
2. Opportunity is homeless.
3. User was the last change user.
4. User is on the Territory Team.
5. User has the correct Sales Area assignment (if Sales Area restrictions are being used).
6. User is assigned to the Account of the Opportunity (if Account restrictions are being used).
7. User is granted access from a different work center view: Pipeline Simulation, Data Privacy, Administrator.
8. User authorizations are granted in a Business Role, and the authorizations for the user are not yet updated in User Management. This would leave the user’s access at whatever it was prior, so could cause both unexpected rejection and unexpected grant.
