Why can I not filter personal number in transaction IW41?

Hello,

IW41 makes me a little bit confused. When I click the gap "personal number" and want to filter it by "personal number" ( in order to see what name the person has, for example) I get all the results connected with the work station.

Any ideas?

Seems like the Standard Behaviour to me, but please revise the following SAP-KBA's :

• SAP-KBA 527244 "Search by first and last name not possible" : link
• SAP-KBA 368676 "IW42/44: Not poss. to search via last/first name for PersNo" : link

See if these provide you with a Better UserExperience ...

See my initial Comment because you could implement a Specific Enhancement to the SearchHelp to make it suit your needs or atleast make it more UserFriendly : SAP-KBA 527244 / 368676 ...

Hi Anna,

Check with ABAPer who will create an additional search option where you can search personnel no. using first and last name.

Give them this note: 527244 to implement (Some manual steps are involved in this note, which will be done by an ABAPer)

Dear Anna ,

In IW41 ( in standard SAP ) the personel number field will display the personnel numbers which are assigned in the Work center ie, assigned in HRMS link in the relevant work center that is used in work order .

Once you have to assign all the Personnel numbers in the work center then you would be able to filter based on the personnel number .
