I am developing customize app where I want to use Smart Variant Management control. I want the details How I can achieve this so can save or retrieve the Variant from Flexibility service layer without creating OData Service. As there are not much documents available here. Requesting you to provide any referring links.

and did configuration in system but because of some other objects dependency we can't Activate Virus profile. So is there any another workaround to use smart Variant without activating Virus profile ?
