Dynamic Page layout

Hello All,

I have a question on dynamic page layout.

suppose we are creating a a layout which has 2 rows and 2 colums .

Is it possible to put a button on every row and column so that when we click the button the area gets maximized in the portal content area.

If yes can you please let me know how to do it.
