Hey Nikhil,

Go to IB52 tcode..

enter the ibase (1) and execute..

Now select the component which represents your Satelite system and then go the the menu bar and click on Go To-> partners..

Select partner Function from the Dropdown and select SOLD_TO_PARTY from the Dropdown and then Assign the Business Partner to it....

Dats it you are done...

I assumed you have configured Ibase and Component for the Satellite System in question....

Hi Anand,

Hey Nikhil,

That field is meant for entering BP..

However after you enter BP, the Last name and first name specified in the bp comes adjacent to the business partner you enter...

So i feel this should solve your problem..

Another possibility is using external nos range for BP....

There you can have Proper name like 'ABC' and so on instead of numbers...

But better off using Numbers and first And last name specified in BP comes in adjacent to the BP entered...

Hi Anand,

The above solution is valid but we have six servers integrated with solman but our requirement is if any user creates from one satellite system sold-to party field should contain that perticular server name and if i create from other server then i should get that server name.

I tryed with IB52, wherein I can put only one sold-to party.

Hey,

If you have 6 servers, you would also have 6 ibase components representing each server...

For each server( or ibase component) you have to assign partners as i have mentioned above in my previous posts...

Now please reward for usefull posts.

Hi,

What you also can try is to create an access sequence to determine the Sold-to Party based on Business Partner relationships. Use this access sequence in your partner determination procedure for finding you Sold-to Party. In BP use the relationship "Is Contact Person for".
