VL02N -- Update was terminated

When I try to post Actual GI date for the delivery and post Goods Issue, I got the message 'Update was terminated' into my mailbox after the post. And I came out the transaction and came in again, the delivery is still intact, the AGI is still not posted.

I went to SM21 to check the log, it shows:

UP1 012 210 LEIS VL22 D0 1 Transaction Canceled ME 006

UP1 012 210 LEIS VL22 R6 5 Update terminated

Any guru know how this happened?

Thanks a lot!

If you check message class ME and message number 006 it says

    "User & already processing & & &"

It is a new delivery order just made for testing and no people processed it. Is it possible caused by any system setting? Thanks.

You should use transactions SM13 and SM14 to analyze failed updates.

No. It's not application, so no runtime error is showed in ST22 there... and in SM13 there is no program or function detail about the error... all fields are empty...

Thx for trying to help and find the clue...

But now I still doesn't have any idea... I also try to find any Z transaction used RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE the function which caused the error, but no Z program used it. It seems it is some configuration problem because it was good one week before...

consistently. because some people changed the setup I guess. after that, I always get the error and no delivery order can be posted AGI now.

You might have received a mail for this message 'Update was terminated'. This happens when the FM which is raising the error messages is called as an Update task.

In debugging, you will not see the message getting executed.

So check for the message class, message number that is raised in the SAP mail and in the FM in which cases the message is thrown. This should help you to point where the error is for eg. which table update is failing.
