We have enhanced the FM in event 5059 to send Security deposits to collections. When we reverse the security deposit , the reversal information is not picked up in FPCI. However if we call back the security deposit , this info is picked up in FPCI.
Do we need to look at customizing event 1729 , 5051 or 5052 to send reversal info to collections.
Appreciate advise on the correct approach.

As we migrated to HANA, we did a service pack upgrade & this has fixed the issue.
We no longer see the flag for log info set for Security deposits reversals in DFKKCOLLP_IP_W & security deposit reversals are processed in FPCI.

Hi Amlan
The submission status is correctly set to 05 in DFKKCOLL. Also as you can see in the table DFKKCOLLP_IP_W , it is capturing the reversal of submission for Security deposit, but it is not picked up by FPCI.
The only thing which i found different is the flag for log info is set for Security deposits reversals but not for other reversals in DFKKCOLLP_IP_W.
Thanks

Hi Satish,
Can you check the Submission status of the SD request item in DFKKCOLL table, once you have reversed it.
Ideally, when you are submitting the SD request, it should be 02, where when you have reversed the SD request, the submission status, should change to 05 in DFKKCOLL. Is this happening at all?
Hope it helps..
Thanks,
Amlan

Hi Bill
You are right. Deposits are not obligations but something you request to cover your risks. We had a detailed discussion with the Business on this front before enhancing event 5059.
After doing a bit of analysis , i found that in the table DFKKCOLLP_IP_W , for security deposits , the flag is set for field LOGKZ. This does not happen for other submissibles reversed. I am suspecting that this is the reason. I have asked a technical resource to look at it.

It is quite unusual to send security deposits to collections as they are not debts owed by the customer.
