E VL 609 (Delivery has not yet been put away/picked completely )

Hi experts,

I created a Consignment Fill up Order in Sales to reserve the stock for a Customer.

In delivery screen when I PGI it display

1-ERROR -E VL 609 (Delivery has not yet been put away/picked completely )

Note:- AND IT TAKEs PICK STATUS [A] BYDEFALT

I don't get this problem when creating normal Delivery for normal sales orders, as the Pick qty is 0 always.

In Delivery Item category KBN- Consign Fill it's ticked saying "relevant for picking".

When I continued putting the Delivery qty in the Picking qty field then I don't face any problem.

But why it is not automatically picking & that I have to manually key in the qty in my DN?

Please can any body give the clue where i should so set up.

When I did surf, I could see people posted the below

"Go ahead to create TO for your delivery by LT03 and confirm it by LT12. It will set picking status to 'C' i.e. completed

then try doing PGI",

But we don't use WM module, so we do not create TOR's.

Pls advise.

Hi

This error will be come if you are trying to do PGI when the Picking qty is less than Delivery qty in delivery.

You need to enter the Picking qty in the Picking overview screen of the delivery same as delivery qty.

if you dont have picking process normally the Unmark the field relevant for picking in the item category.

Sorry for coming back to this post.

Can it be that the picked quantity is less than the delivery quantity?   Can this be configured so as we can pick and GI a specific quantity?

No it should always be equal to the delivery quantity.  If you have further queries, please create a new thread by clicking "Start a discussion" which you can see from your right side

Hi Anne..

Normally the quantity which is relevent for picking has to be picked in delivery (quantity entered manualy) and then you can do PGI as this item is relevent for Picking.

If the Item is not relevent for picking you can directly do the PGI as the Picking field will remain as grey..

If you are maintaining warehouse management then you have to create tranfer order (LT03). so picking in delivery is not possible...

Please check the Item category (DELIVERY ITEM CATEGORY)details for normal delivery. I think in that item category field the field ITEM IS RELEVENT FOR PICKING IS NOT MARKED..

Thanks for your quick reply.

Do you mean to say that I must save my delivery before I do PGI?

I directly clicked the "Post Goods Issue" button before saving the Delivery document.

Also in Delivery item category KBN - the item relevant for picking is already selected.

We don't use WM module hence no Whse number assigned.
