You cannot just drop stuff out of a G/L in SAP. The best procedure is to reverse them.
Just as an FYI - There is a program that actually deletes documents, but then i don't think you can run that program for one document. It is generally run at a Co Cd level.
Hope that helps..
Thanks,
Nandita

Hi All,
SAP does now allow documents to be deleted. The best posible option is to reverse them in case they have been posted in error.
SAP aslo has another mechanism of deleting the old data in the system by using the archiving concept. Using this route, if the documents life cycle is over then you can archive the documents and this would ensure the documents are deleted physically from the database.
You can have any restriction while doing archiving. You can even select only a particular vendor and archive all the documents related to it. The archiving object relevent in this case would FI_DOCUMNT.

Hi,
You can only reverse a document with FB08. You cannot delete it.
